Research On Boundary Space Design Of Universities In Beijing Based On Resource Sharing

With the vigorous development of higher education in China,the concept of planning and construction in universities is also quietly.In today's social context that emphasizes resource sharing and campus-city integration,the campus boundary space that was once considered to be the border area has received increasing attention due to its integration in universities and cities.The Beijing area is one of the regions with the largest number of universities in China.The construction of col leges and universities has long affected by typical closed courtyard pattern,to some extent,hindered the interaction between the campus and the surrounding cities and communities.Therefore,the study of the boundaries of universities in the Beijing area has a practical significance for solving school city fusion problem and promoting the coordinated development of universities and cities.This paper takes two types of university campus which are in Beijing urban area and suburbs as the research object,and strengthens the resource sharing between the campus and the city as the entry point.Through literature research,field investigation,to summarize experiences and problems in the boundary space of the university campus in Beijing,and to explore related optimization design strategics,provide the basis for future design and transformation.The content of the article is mainly divided into three parts.The first part defines the related concepts such as the boundary space of university campus and resource sharing and explains the value and significance of constructing the boundary space of universities based on resource sharing.The second part conducts specific investigation and analysis of the boundary space of two types of campuses in the Beijing area from the aspects of constituent elements,function types,basic forms,degree of openness,and spatial scale.Additionally,existing successful experiences and problems were summarized through typical case study about different types of resources of' colleges and universities in Beijing,such as intellectual resources,cultural resources,sports resources sharing,landscape resources.The third part explores on the basis of the previous research,and proposes the general principles of optimizing boundary space,and puts forward the design countermeasures for the specific problems.
