Research On The Application Of Traditional Architectural Elements Based On Construction Mode

As modernization in our country keeps accelerating,there're increasing requirements on architectural functions.Moreover,with the updating of construction mode and materials,modern buildings are larger in both inner space and outside volume in order to meet the cultural and living needs of people.But,under the influence of globalization,architectural homogenization became serious with each passing day.Although modern buildings have advanced construction mode and new-type materials as support they could not fulfill the emotional appeal of people who value the traditional culture.So it would be the main theme of the new era to focus on traditional architectural elements used in design and construction.Buildings with large volume are designed for the use of commercial,medical service and education,the ones with larger number of users.We chose college public building as topic,which is typically high density building.We tried to honor the tradition with rational construction mode,and give a better solution based on the practical needs of the building.In this study over college public building,we also discussed how to adopt the reasonable way to solve the practical issues met in the application of traditional elements in considerable volume buildings,especially when the investors and chief designer had already settled the whole construction plan.What's more,we tried to use feasible way to bring a positive influence over the aspects like thermal insulation,fire prevention,water proofing and drainage,facing system,lighting,air conditioning,noise reduction and energy conservation.
