The steel-wood composite structure has the advantages of both steel structure and wood structure.It is the combination of steel and wood to form the structure through different forms,which can maximize the superior performance of the two kinds of materials.To make up for their mechanical defects,thus achieving structural energy efficiency optimization.In recent years,energy conservation,environmental protection and energy efficiency steel and wood composite structure has become a research hotspot.However,how to make steel and wood combine better and form new high performance steel-wood composite beam members,the research on the combination mechanism,mechanical performance and calculation theory is still to be carried out.In this paper,a new type of thin-walled steel-wood composite beam is proposed,in which three thin-walled steel plates are welded to form a piece of cypress board bonded to each of the upper and lower flange of H-section steel.At the same time,the self-tapping screws with equal spacing are pushed into the left and right web plates of the plank and H-section steel,each of which binds a piece of Caribbean pine wood,and holes with equal spacing are punched on the web plank,and the bolts are fastened to form a composite beam.The combined connection mode and flexural bearing capacity of the composite beam are analyzed and studied theoretically.The flexural bearing capacity test is based on 13 thin-walled H-beam composite beams and a pure wood beam with the same section.The flexural properties,load-deflection curves,deformation capacity and failure mechanism of the composite beams are analyzed and studied.The research shows that the thin-walled H-beam composite beam has higher bending stiffness and better ductility,and thin-walled steel plate and wood can coordinate deformation,exert their superior properties,and make up for their mechanical defects at the same time.In this paper,a simplified formula of bending bearing capacity and mid-span deflection of thin-walled H-beam composite beams is put forward by the method of superposition of bearing capacity,and the calculated results are compared with the experimental results.and the comparison results are in good agreement with each other.
