As an actuator which converts electrical pulse signal into corresponding angular displacement,stepper motor has the characteristics of high positioning accuracy,large dynamic torque,simple control and so on.Digital signal is directly used for open-loop control.In order to realize the steady and fast operation of the stepper motor,improve the acceleration capability of the motor and reduce the impact on the motor in the start-stop process,and prevent out of step,reasonable acceleration curve design is very important.A simulation model of stepper motor control system that based on MATLAB/SIMULINK is established to study the influence of operation curve on the control performance of stepper motor,and to optimize the rotation speed and control accuracy of stepper motor.The simulation model also provides a way to predict the working performance of other stepper motor systems.Combined with the basic characteristics of stepper motor,as well as the subdivision drive technology of stepper motor,the working principle and structure of stepper motor are systematically introduced.Based on the research of step motor acceleration and deceleration algorithm,a real-time control step motor acceleration and deceleration algorithm is designed.The open-loop control system of stepper motor is deeply studied,the simulation model of stepper motor control system that based on SIMULINK is established.The trapezoidal,exponential and S-shaped curves are simulated.Based on this,the simulation results of three kinds of running curves are compared and analyzed.The efficiency of the improved S-shaped curve algorithm is studied.Based on the data acquisition principle of the stepping motor of automobile instrument,combining with the existing data filtering algorithm,limiting filtering method,moving smoothing filtering method,etc,the real vehicle data are filtered,so that the data can be used to eliminate the interference items,the smoothness of the data can be improved within the allowable tolerance range,and restrain the low speed jitter of the motor.In order to verify the control performance of the improved S-curve algorithm,based on the hardware experimental platform of stepper motor control system,a software control program is designed.Experimental results show that the experimental results arebasically consistent with the simulation results.The results show that the improved Scurve can obviously improve the rotation speed of stepper motor,and effectively solve the contradiction between accuracy and smoothness in the rotation of automobile instrument pointer.
