FPSO(floating production storage offshore)and shuttle tanker are used in most deep-sea oil and gas production in China,FPSO has the advantage of adaptability,and easy to transfer to different deployment location.While the production deck equipment layout are close to each other,high risky equipment are concentrated,which is very sensitive to the impact load.As one of the important risk sources in the field of marine engineering,the falling objects from crane may cause gas leakage from FPSO or damage to submarine pipeline and result in oil leakage under certain conditions,which will lead to the subsequent fire and explosion consequences.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the risk of FPSO oil and gas equipment and submarine pipeline leakage based on falling objects collision.This paper is based on "FPSO failure database and risk assessment system research and development" project of the Ministry of industry and information technology.Areas of risk of falling objects from crane and oil and gas leakage and diffusion research methods of offshore platform and submarine pipeline are fully investigated and analyzed,in both domestic and foreign.A FPSO production module and a nearby submarine pipeline is selected as the study model,and the probability of falling object impact on a FPSO production module is studied based on the method of equal probability point,and the equipment with highest risk is selected.Then on the basis of the study of the experimental trajectory of falling objects under water in foreign researches,a method of calculating the probability of falling objects hitting on submarine pipeline is proposed based on the Theory of Probability,also the simplified calculation procedure of the visualization software is compiled.CFD software is used to simulate the leakage and dispersion law of natural gas from FPSO production module and the leakage and dispersion law of oil leakage from submarine pipeline.In the production module,the influence of different wind direction,wind speed and the size of leak hole to diffusion law of natural gas are analyzed,and the sizes of the dangerous areas are showed.In submarine pipeline,the influence of different oil density,rate of leakage and size of leakage to the drift of oil spill are analyzed respectively,which mainly focus on the time of oil droplets reach sea surface and lateral drift distance of oil droplets,and fitting formula according to the calculation results.Finally,the risk values are calculated considering the probability and consequences of the accident using the risk assessment matrix,the risk analysis process is completed by this,and the safety measures to reduce the risk are given.
