With the rapid development of transportation industry, there are more and more large Bridges in the cross-region port area and navigable rivers. At the same time, ships around the world are also developing in large scale and high speed, with increasing number of vessels and tonnage, which has caused the increasing number of disasters of ships impacting Bridges.Collision of ships usually results in rupture of hull, environmental pollution and loss of personnel and property.Statistics show that both at home and abroad in recent years, ship collision happened bridge in the world, such as ship on the rocks, ship collision accident has more than 100 times, about 10%of the ship sinking due to collision caused serious damage. At present, the subject of ship collision has attracted extensive attention from all over the world, and the research on the theory of ship bridge collision has important theoretical and practical significance for guaranteeing the safety of ships. This article mainly includes the following aspects.1.In this paper, the purpose and significance of the project research are proposed by analyzing the domestic and foreign ship-bridge collision accidents. The basic principle and method of finite element simulation collision are introduced, and the key problems and numerical simulation methods in the process are described in detail.2.In the case that the purpose of this study and the theory of research are familiar, the numerical simulation of the collision process is carried out in various working conditions.Using ANSYS/ls-dyna to establish the ship and bridge model and to solve it,ls-prepost is used for post-processing.The influence of different factors on the collision result of ship-bridge is mainly studied, including the initial speed of ship, water level in collision,Angle of collision, ship's load condition, etc.Through the numerical analysis, the influence of each factor on the damage degree of the ship is further understood in different working conditions, and the damage mechanism of the ship is described.3.In the description of the collision part of the ship design specification, most simplified formulas are based on ship quality and ship speed as the main reference variables, and some of formulas do not consider the impact of speed on the impact. For example, the analysis of impact force is mainly based on empirical formula, which shows the limitations of the specification.Numerical simulation is used to study the ship collision mechanism or to make up for the deficiency of relevant content.4.In the description of the collision part of the ship design specification, most simplified formulas are based on ship quality and ship speed as the main reference variables, and some of formulas do not consider the impact of speed on the impact. For example, the analysis of impact force is mainly based on empirical formula, which shows the limitations of the specification.Numerical simulation is used to study the ship collision mechanism or to make up for the deficiency of relevant content.
