With the increasing shipping business,the number of marine vessels has been increasing.With the more busy maritime traffic and increasing marine vessels,Collisions accidents between ships and ships,offshore structures,bridges and other things have occurred,which caused serious loss of life and property,even triggered crisis in the marine ecological environment,especially for oil tankers,chemical tankers and other liquid cargo tankers.Therefore,it’s one of the important research directions that the rapid assessment of ship collision probability,ship collision damage degree,accident rescue and risk management and other sects,with which the marine ecological protection,maritime safety,marine science,technology development and other multiple value in the research area of ship collision.In this paper,the ship collision model is established by adopting numerical simulation and case verification,the collision force change,as well as the stress and strain variation are obtained by contrasting the two velocities,and the method of ship collision damage assessment is discussed.Firstly,a finite element ships collision model is established,which is used to simulate the actual ship collision accident.Among that,the collision angle of ships was 82 °,and the back of struck ship was fixed Based on the collision model and simulation experiment,the seawater effect was achieved by the attached water quality method.Comparing the actual damage situation with the damage and deformation diagram obtained by the simulation,the finite element simulation method adopted in this paper can simulate the ship collision process,which will be better and has high reliability.Then,the finite element simulation method was adopted to establish the geometrical model in the collision process of double hull oil tanker.The factors such as material and element are considered in the model.On the basis of this model,a series of ship collision simulation experiments were carried out to study the damage mechanism of the side structure of the struck ship by changing the initial velocity of collision,observing the data of stress,strain,energy and displacement during the collision.Based on the calculation results of LS-DYNA and the inner link between the speed and the ship collision damage,a method of judging rapidly ship collision damage was proposed----an atlas technology of ship collision damageThe atlas technology of ship collision damage can provide reliable data support for sailing ships,which will benefit the ship collision avoidance and risk estimation,and provide a powerful guarantee for navigation safety.
