Speed optimization is one of the most important means for the management of ship's intelligent energy efficiency.The prediction of the main engine power of an ocean ship is of great significance to the optimization of the speed of the ship.It is an important theoretical basis for ocean ships to realize intelligent energy efficiency management.The prediction of the mainframe power of an ocean ship depends on the calculation and prediction of the resistance of the ship.Firstly,by consulting the resistance prediction and the related literature of power prediction,the CFD software STAR-CCM+ is used as a simulation tool in this paper.The navigation route of the target ship is selected and the sea condition studied in this paper is determined according to the forecast data of the mid-term weather forecast center in Europe.The KVLCC2 ship similar to the target ship is selected,and its resistance calculation results are compared with the experimental results.The coincidence degree is higher.The two error of static water resistance is less than 5%,and the error of heave and tilting is within 10%.The feasibility of the CFD method to calculate the resistance of this type of ship is verified.Secondly,the target ships are modeled and analyzed,and the hydrostatic resistance of ships at different speeds and sea conditions is calculated.The frictional resistance and residual resistance of hydrostatic resistance are analyzed respectively,and the resistance real time curves at different wavelengths are obtained.The increase of wave resistance and wind resistance of ships sailing in waves is calculated.Finally,the resistance values are collected to get the total resistance value of the ship under different sea conditions at different speed.Finally,the efficiency of the ship propulsion system is analyzed,and the efficiency of each part is determined.Combined with the calculated resistance values under different sea conditions and different speeds,the power of the main engine is forecasted and analyzed,and the predicted value of the host power under different conditions is given.Compared the predicted value with the actual operating value,the error of the two is within 10%,which meets the requirements of the engineering calculation precision,and the reliability of the prediction results is verified.The prediction method of power used for target ships has good applicability and guiding significance for the ship of this type,which has important reference value for ship speed optimization and energy efficiency research.
