Shipping is the main way of transportation of imported soybean in China.The quantity of imported soybean is great.One ship can carry at least tens of thousands of tons.Once cargo damage happens,the loss will be enormous.In order to analyze the cause of cargo damage,there is a need to analyze the change of temperature field in cargo hold during the whole voyage.Finding out the regularity and tendency of change of temperature can provide guide for management of cargo.According to related knowledge of grain storage and investigation of cargo damage accident,initial loading temperature and moister content can have great influence on the steady of bulk grain.In addition,the temperature of sea and atmosphere and solar radiation can affect the distribution of temperature filed of cargo.Based on numerical heat transfer and theory of simulation,the article analyses the distribution of bulk soybean temperature in different initial loading temperature and moister content and gets a conclusion that high temperature area and low temperature area get bigger following the increase the moister content and reducing the initial loading temperature has positive effect on the steady of bulk grain.The main content is as following:This article studies the temperature field of bulk gain cargo hold in detail.First analyze the heat transfer mechanism between the bulk grain and marine environment,treat bulk grain as porous medium model,set up a mathematic model of temperature field in cargo hold and calculate the convective heat transfer coefficient of boundary.Second,take one grain ship for subject,set up three-dimension cargo compartment using GAMBIT.Mesh and import it to FLUENT.Set up initial,boundary condition and solver.Simulate the temperature field of bulk grain hold with different initial loading temperature and moister content.Analyze the contour of temperature and result data.Finally,by comparing with the cases in actual shipping proves the mathematical model of bulk grain heat transfer correct.
