Along with the increasingly improvement of automatic technology of equipment in engine room on shipboard,monitoring and controlling device with intelligence has been adopted to consist various monitor and control system in many systems onboard such as propulsion system,power system,damage control system and fire fighting system,etc.Along with the improvement of integration capability of ship,and integration capability of ship,and the advancement of automatization onboard,the safety and reliability of the equipment onboard has an important effection on the navigation and safety of ship.The requirements on monitor and control device for various equipment onboard will be improved at the same time.The integrated monitoring device for ship cabin parameters is subordinate to the monitoring equipment under the ship platform management system,which is the intermediate link of the ship information platform,and undertakes the important function of information collection,instruction issue and information release of the marine equipment.First of all,this paper provides an overview of technology and development of vessel equipment monitoring system at home and abroad.The requirement of transformation towards automation,integration and high performance,especially high reliability is explicitly illustrated,which laid the foundation for the research priorities in this paper.Secondly,the detection of ship cabin parameters and internal and external interface requirements are analyzed.System function requirements are presented,and overall plan of the integrated monitoring device is designed by adopting methods of function modularization and redundancy techniques.To meet the system reliability requirements,in the overall design,the redundant design method is applied to the dual redundancy configuration of important function modules,and the module level automatic switching is carried out combining with the real-time self test of the interface to realize the redundancy design of equipment interface.Thirdly,reliability design technology is applied to implement reliability allocation and estimation of each functional module and complete machine.System basic reliability and mission reliability block diagram are put forward,reliability allocation principles are used to carry out reliability prediction of each functional module and complete machine of the integrated monitoring device.Design criteria that are of generalization,seriation and modularization are employed according to the overall design plan and functional requirements.Wiring layout of the functional module are designed for the integrated monitoring device,and testability design techniques are used to design and test the main functional modules,and real time self-testing of the equipment internal modules and interfaces are realized.At last,The engineering prototype is developed and under laboratory conditions,the complete machine of the model integrated monitoring device is debugged and tested,and the system runs normally,meeting the monitoring requirements.
