In the rocking wall-frame structure,the rocking wall regulate the deformation of overall structure by itself,it makes the deformation of each layer becomes uniform,avoiding the layer destruction,and give full play to the overall structure of the energy dissipation capacity,so as to improve the collapse resistance of the structure.But the traditional rocking wall-frame structure system exist more problem: under seismic loads,since the shear wall is replaced by a rocking wall,the stiffness of the structure is weakened,cause the lateral displacement of the structure too large;the concrete beams which used to connect the column and the rocking wall deformation ability is poor and difficult to change.This paper proposes the crawler damper instead of concrete beam which used to connect the column and the rocking wall,crawler dampers have superior performance,the characteristics of restore is strong and easy to replace in the rocking wall-frame structure.It can control the problem of large lateral displacement of the rocking wall-frame structure.The problem of large deformation and high maintenance cost of the rocking wall-frame structure has been promoted.In order to promote the use of the rocking wall-frame energy consumption structure in the Qingdao area,this paper designs a frame-shear wall structure house according to the engineering geological conditions in Qingdao area.Building the entity model by ETABS 2015,comparing seismic ability of the frame-shear wall structure and rocking wall-frame structure under the same seismic condition and the results shows the rocking wall-frame structure has better seismic ability,the deformation of each layer of the structure is uniform,and the yield failure mode is controlled.The stiffness of the rocking wall-frame structure is lower,and the lateral displacement is larger when the seismic force is applied,so that the structural instability is improved.To solve this problem,this paper designed a crawler damper for the rocking wall-frame structure to replace the concrete beam,forming the rocking wall-frame energy dissipation structure.Comparing seismic ability of the three models,the results shows the rocking wall-frame energy dissipation structure has better seismic ability,especially the lateral displacement of frame rocking wall structure problem has been effectively controlled.Because the crawler damper and the building structure is connected by bolts,the replacement and maintenance is more convenient.In order to realize the application of the rocking wall-frame energy dissipation structure in practical engineering,in this paper,the design process of the rocking wall-frame energy dissipation structure is summarized,and put forward a set of overall design method.Change the structural style of a Qingdao frame-shear wall structure to rocking wall-frame energy dissipation structure,and the results show that the seismic performance of rocking wall-frame energy dissipation structure is better and the large deformation has been controlled.
