Converter valve is a high-power power electronic equipment,which is used for the AC-DC conversion in the direct current system.Its operating voltage level can be as high as ±800kV,with power up to 8000 MW,and it will produce a lot of heat in operation.Therefore,a reliable and effective cooling system is needed during normal operation,to ensure the high heat generated by the large current does not burn out the converter valve.With the increase of transmission voltage level,requirements for converter valve cooling device and workers’ skills are becoming stricter.In order to make the workers know more about the operation principles and operations of converter valve cooling system,this paper has developed a simulation test platform similar to the actual water cooling system.The openness and real-time of the platform make it reflect the actual situations of the operating conditions.Also,the platform can be used for kinds of training.At present,there are some substation simulation test systems,but the converter valve cooling simulation test platform has not been formed.Therefore,according to the simulation test system demands,this paper has carried out the following works,which are based on the in-depth study of Lingbao HVDC converter valve cooling system:(1)Mathematical model of converter valve cooling system has been constructed based on the main domestic converter valve cooling system,which provides basis for the simulation platform development.The model can also provide basis for fault early warning and data prediction.(2)The study of working condition prediction and fault early warning has been carried out by the historical operation data.And,the reliability of valve cooling system can be evaluated by the study,which is used to provide support for maintenance and optimization.(3)According to the mathematical model establishment and historical data analization,a simulation platform similar to the actual converter valve cooling system has been established.It can be used for operation simulation and fault handing simulation,also can be used for reflection of various operating conditions and maintenance skill training.At the end of this paper,the simulation test platform has been developed based on software KingSCDA and PLC technology.With characteristics of perfect functions,highly openness,friendly interface,and real-time,the simulation test platform has been running well. |
