The pipeline construction in our country has the trend of big caliber,long distance and network,and the automation and the digitalization are generally low.The quality and speed of pipeline construction is related to the rapid development of transportation engineering.However,the traditional method of measuring the diameter of the pipeline is still using the traditional method,which is inefficient and poor in precision.Therefore,this paper presents a kind of pipeline paired measurement technology based on three-dimensional laser scanner.(1)The three-dimensional drawing,structure and principle analysis of the large-scale pipeline paired using the roller-line equipment,the analysis of the common defect in the welding process of the large pipeline paired.Digital measurement method for large-scale pipeline paired based on 3D laser scanner is proposed.(2)Research on point cloud data processing method of large-scale process pipeline,which includes 3D transformation algorithm and mosaic algorithm of point cloud,feature-based pipeline target model rapid extraction algorithm,pipeline model fitting algorithm based on radius constraint,characteristic line fitting and straightness evaluation,evaluation of the orifice matching degree based on the minimum area method roundness error evaluation.(3)The factors influencing the accuracy of digital measurement of large-scale pipeline are analyzed,and the error model of large-scale pipeline digital measurement based on 3D laser scanner is established,and the accuracy of digital measurement of large pipeline is analyzed.(4)Develop the measurement software to realize the quickly extracting of target pipeline,fitting of the pipeline model,arbitrarily rotating of the pipeline in the virtual environment,the orifice matching degree and the straightness of the arbitrary position evaluation under the cloudcompare according to the established algorithm model.(5)Finally,a large-scale pipeline digital measurement experiment based on 3D laser scanner is carried out to validate the digital measurement technology of large-scale process pipelines.The large-scale pipeline digital measurement technology developed in this paper has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the measurement accuracy and speed of the large-scale pipeline paired,and thus promoting the rapid development of pipeline engineering construction.
