China's mountains area is vast,with lots of natural slopes and artificial slopes.Meanwhile,the slope failure induced by earthquake is frequent,such as landslide,collapse,debris flow and other geological disasters,which causes serious losess of life and property.Therefore,the research on slope instability is a current research topic in the field of geotechnical engineering.Due to slope instability mechanism is complex,seismic time-history feature can't be performed by tradition pseudo-static analysis method,so dynamic analysis is widely concerned by academics and engineers.In this paper,the current anlaysis method of static and dynamic is summarized,and stress field process of a slope under seismic is calculated with finite element method.Three intelligent optimization algorithms are studied to search minimum safety factor and the corresponding sliding surface.Then with the compare of the results of different algorithms,the main contents of this paper are:(1)Pointing out the background and significance of the research,and reviewing the research status of slope stability analysis at home and abroad;(2)Summarizing the methods of slope static stability,including the limit equilibrium method and several static analysis methods,and one example is used to compare the various method of safety factor.(3)Summarizing the methods of slope dynamic stability,including pseudo-static method and the finite element method,and the dynamic response,constitutive model,boundary conditions and seismic processing of the finite element method is introduced in detail.The slope seismic stability of the example above is calculated.(4)Three intelligent optimization algorithms are introduced,in which the genetic algorithm and particle swarm algorithm has been already applied to the slope stability analysis.In this paper a new intelligent optimization method-differential evolution algorithm is researched.Based on intelligent optimization algorithm,the method of slope seismic stability analysis is studied,the calculation process is deduced by the definitions of sliding surface and safety factor.MIDAS-GTS is used to analyze stastic and dynamic stability of slope,and three kinds of intelligent optimization algorithm is used to search the minimumsafety factor and the corresponding sliding surface.(5)In rare earthquake,dynamic response and stability of practical projects are calculated.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Safety results: calculated by standard method is smaller than one of finite element method.The main reasons are that the model and the definition of the safety factor are different;and the method of industry standard is more conservative.So,various methods should be considered to analyse the static and dynamic stability of complicated slope under actual situation;(2)Under the earthquake,slope's acceleration response affected by its shape,which growth along the slope angle and slope height,and seismic effect is magnified by slope;(3)Compared with the results of different intelligent optimization algorithm,DE algorithm is superior to PSO algorithm,then GA algorithm is at the bottom;(4)Acorroding to the practical example,finite and DE algorithm can be used in the analysis of complex slope stability under seismic action.
