As the era of motorization is coming,the vehicle holding rate is surging up day by day.Vehicles take a large occupation of public space in the city,which makes the pedestrian-vehicle conflict become more and more serious.With the requirement for environment,safety and high quality,the pedestrian-vehicle relationships need to be reorganized.In this paper,it fully studied the research results and experiences in the field of pedestrian-vehicle separation both at home and abroad.Based on the analysis of the connotation of Eco-traffic demonstration area and the pedestrian-vehicle conflict,it determined to research the traffic organization method of pedestrian-vehicle separation in eco-traffic demonstration area as the overall target.It provides a clear direction for the study.In order to ensure the scientific nature of the method.Firstly,we constructs the pedestrian-vehicle conflict of the evaluation index system,and quantitatively reflects the pedestrian-vehicle conflict situation in the urban traffic system.Secondly,according to the different levels of the pedestrian-vehicle conflict,and the different characteristics and demands of pedestrian-vehicle in different urban functional areas,the traffic zoning developed,and proposed differentiated traffic development requirements.Thirdly,through in-depth analysis on Principles and applicable areas of pedestrian-vehicle separation means,the strategy of pedestrian-vehicle separation was formed to meet the needs of the development of traffic zoning.Finally,Singapore Nanjing Eco-Technology Island,for example.Based on the traffic model data,Using Use this method for analysis,include the pedestrian-vehicle conflict of the evaluation index system;the traffic zoning;traffic organization of pedestrian-vehicle separation in three typical areas.Then basing on the traffic model we made a comparative evaluation to the effect of pedestrian-vehicle separation theory.The results of empirical analysis showed that the organization method studied in this paper has obvious effect in reducing the pedestrian-vehicle conflict,and plays a role in guiding the traffic flow to the corridors of motor vehicles and strengthening the function of bus corridors.Consistent with the target of traffic organization of pedestrian-vehicle separation in eco-traffic demonstration area.The method has a strong reliability.
