With the rapid development of the society,the nuclear radiation detection technology has played an increasingly important role in many fields,such as the nuclear weapons,scientific research,industrial applications,food hygiene,medical devices and so on.And nuclear spectrum acquisition and processing is an important branch of nuclear radiation detection technology.With the rapid development of digital technology,the application of digital technology in the nuclear spectrum acquisition and processing has been showing more efficient and convenient advantages than the traditional method.However,in this direction,our country started later,lagging behind foreign countries,although domestic research has made some achievements,but still need further exploration,comparison and innovation.Relying on the subject of the project,I used the Matlab to do some research on nuclear spectrum data acquisition and processing.Based on Matlab and high speed data acquisition card,the system of nuclear spectrum data acquisition and processing is developed.The system is composed of the hardware of the lower computer and the host computer.The hardware part assembled by the oscilloscope,the detector?CdZnTe?CZT?detectors,lanthanum bromide?LaBr3?detector?,signal amplifying and shaping circuit,peak detection circuit,high speed data acquisition card?ADLINK DAQ-2501 and PCI-9812?.In this part,the original signal is processed into the peak signal to the host computer.In order to ensure the programming and data processing,the host computer interface is developed based on Matlab software.We can get gamma spectrum after the processing procedure of obtained peak signal data on the software interface:smoothing,peak searching and stabilizing.Besides,we could deal with the?spectral data in other aspects.The interface is intuitive and easy to operate,and the data acquisition process and energy spectrum processing process as a whole are properly connected.In this paper,the application of a digital PID control in the spectrum stabilization is introduced.The energy spectrum peak stabilization technique combines hardware and software technology,it sets the target peak values which meet the requirements as system reference peak values,putting the deviation between the measured peak value and the reference peak in the running process of the system and digital PID algorithm together to adjust programmable gain amplifier to stabilize the peak.The experimental results show that the energy spectrum peak stabilization technique has the advantages of stabling peak fast,well stability,strong anti-interference ability and other aspects.In the process of data acquisition and processing,the algorithm is used to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the data.
