With the rapid development of the automobile industry,the manufacturing and assembling technology of components is becoming more and more difficult,which poses a higher challenge to the manufacture and assembly quality of engine.Rotational torque of engine crankshaft is a key quality parameter to evaluate the engine assembly quality.The traditional practice is to detect rotational torque of crankshaft by artificial,which is not only inefficiency but also the assembly quality fluctuation is larger.It can't meet the require of modern production quality management and process control.So how to reduce and control the quality fluctuation in the process of assembly,and improve the process of support capabilities has become the core content in the field of modern quality management study.In this study,the crankshaft rotating torque on-line measurement technology has been used to monitor the crankshaft assembly process of WP12 engine.Through dismantling and checking of unaccepted product,determine and optimize the quality control range of rotational torque of engine crankshaft.The job can enhance the control ability of the engine production,avoid damage to the movement friction pair caused by vice and tile machine scrap and other major quality problems,and ensure consistency of installed capacity.The main works of this paper are as follows:First of all,combine the structure of WP12 engine crankshaft pair and the arrangement of assembly line,the station of equipment was confirmed based on the research of measurement principle of crankshaft rotation torque.By monitor the crankshaft assembly process of WP12 engine,a lot of rotational torque data are acquired on the measuring equipment.Combining to the requirement of quality control in the production process,the quality control range of rotational torque was primary design by using statistical analysis method.Secondly,through dismantling and checking of unaccepted product,the main factors which influencing the assembly quality of the crankshaft are determined.Analysis on the unqualified assembly such as missing part,use unqualified parts size,foreign body and bolt torque.Through the analysis,the impact on rotational torque of crankshaft of the various factors was studied.It can provide theoretical basis for the next study by determine the distinguish ability of torque testing equipment.Finally,it is analyzed the reason of the different rotational torque of the first and second assembly lines of WP12.Combined with the rotational torque data collected in the later practical application,the rotational torque control range of WP12 is optimized to narrow to avoid large particles of foreign matter,loose bolts and other unqualified assembly flow into the hot test platform to ensure consistency of installed capacity and improve the process of support capabilities.
