Reactive powder concrete is a kind of cement-based composite material with good stability,it overcomes the defects of low tensile strength,low elongation and brittleness of the common concrete.It has high mechanical properties,excellent durability,low shrinkage and creep properties.However,the bond strength between steel and RPC is low,the high strength properties of RPC requires enough reliable internal force transfer between steel and section steel.In order to ensure the reliable transmission of internal force between steel and RPC,we should layout web in the steel flange surface or a certain number of stud.Our existing two industry rules are only given the construction measures of the stud.There are no rules for calculation of longitudinal shear capacity of steel reinforced concrete with stud.Although domestic scholars have carried out research on shear transfer behavior of steel reinforced concrete composite structures with joints,and they provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of the relevant provisions,in the existing research,the concrete strength grade is lower,and the RPC of super high strength performance is not necessarily applicable.Five ste el reinforced reactive powder concrete(RPC)short columns with stud connectors and one comparative steel reinforced concrete short columns without stud connectors on the surface of shape steel were statically tested to study failure mode,load slip curves,strain curves of steel,shear bearing capacity and other content of steel reinforced RPC short columns with stud connectors.Based on test results,this paper apply the theory of nonlinear fracture mechanics to calculating formula of the bearing capacity.The test shows that the failure mode of steel reinforced RPC take splitting failure as the main,and as the same as the load slip curves of ordinary steel reinforced concrete,the load-slip curve of specimens in this paper can be divided into five stages,they are no slip segment,slip segment,failure segment,load decline segment,residual segment.The strain curves of steels are similar to those of ordinary steel reinforced concrete,the strain curves of steel are in the exponential forms under the less load,when the load becomes larger,steel near the stud position will produce mutation because the deformation of stud connectors lead to the RPC under the local pressure.And the calculation results show that The formula to calculate results are conservative compared with the experimental results.
