The polar region is rich in energy sources,which have not been developed.In case of this,many countries show great interests in the development of the polar energy sources.As the global-warming brings about the melting of sea-ice in summer,the development of polar ocean and ship routes is deepened.Meanwhile,the demand of polar ships also increases significantly.The strength analysis and assessment of hull structure,which is under the action of ice load,is the main contents of the polar ship design.At present,the main method of hull structure's strength analysis bases on the structure response assessment in the action of the ice-class rules' design load.However,the ice-class rules consider few working conditions and the ice-class' s heavier load can make the structure heavy.In order to improve the method of polar ship structure's assessment,this essay uses the numerical simulation and theoretical calculation methods study the dynamic response of the ship-ice interaction by the working type of continuous icebreaking and collision icebreaking.The main contents of this paper include the followings:1.This paper analyzes the calculation methods,which bases on the ice-class rules.The differences of the ice class definition,the design ice load and load's function area,the structural response under ice loads action of different ice-class rules are compared.And the applicability of ice rules for different operation waters is also analyzed.2.With the combination of the ice-load direct calculation and finite element dynamic analysis method,a direct calculation method for the continuous ice-breaking way is designed.The result is compared with the ice class rule's calculation result and the rationality of this method is discussed.3.With the consideration of the coupling function of the sea,ice and the air,this essay uses nonlinear finite element method to analyze the process of ice-breaking.The relationships between ice's thickness and crash force?response of the structure,and the ship's initial speed and crash force?response of the structure are analyzed.And the time history of ship's speed?energy and crash force are also analyzed.4.According to the structural response's characteristics of continuous and crash ice-breaking way,the equivalent static analysis method of the hull structure's dynamic response under the ice action is analyzed.
