Residential area is an important part of urban construction,which has a great impact on the formation of urban flood disaster.City waterlogging is inevitably encountered in the city development of our country.When our country from developing countries of low level and low speed to the developed countries with high level and high speed transition,the mode of management,administrative concept,mode and technology level are mismatched with the rapid development of the city,so it brings all sorts of contradictions.Obviously,the city waterlogging is one of them.Based on the characteristics of residential district construction,this article proposed the design method of reducing the regional flood peak in the residential area by using the drainage system,and constructs the water flood confluence aquatic peak model.This paper analyzes the causes of urban waterlogging disaster in our country,and sums up solutions put forward by experts and scholars.Through the designed flood control standard and the construction characteristics of the plot,the net rainfall and flood hydrograph of the area are calculated.Formulating the flood storage target,and using the model to calculate the reservoir storage volume of different sizes and different permeable area in residential areas.The solutions of cutting down flood peak,reducing the casualties and direct economic losses caused by floods,easing the pressure of urban drainage facilities can through the way of storaging reservoirs.These model and results provide scientific basis and theoretical guidance for the construction of urban residential areas in the future.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The calculating results show that if only transform impervious surfaces of the residential area into permeable surfaces,their flood peak reduction effect is limited when they encounter a heavy rain.It's not achieve the original intention of the design.(2)Building flood runoff yield and concentration in residential area and stagnant water peaking model can be by the way of using the runoff yield and concentration formula,hydrologic budget equation and orifice outflow equation;Have tested storge volume of corresponding reservoir in different size and flooded area of residential area,providing a reference for the construction of future drainage system in residential area and the transformation of drainage system in old residential area,that provide a reference for the construction of residential renovation after the drainage system and drainage facilities in the old district.
