The Planning And Management Research Of Flood Control And Drainage In Maoming Area

Flood prevention and drainage planning and management is very important for city area, which is main objective and content of the thesis. Maoming city lies on the west-south of Guangdong province. There are some disadvantages of flood control and drainage control. Based on the concept of sustainable development and the combination of theory and practice, the following contents are studied and researched deeply in this paper:1. The planning of flood prevention dike, which includes Xiaodongjiang river flood prevention dike and Baishahe river flood prevention dike;2. The planning of pump stations along the rivers;3. The study of non-engineering measures on flood prevention and drainage;4.The study of integrated water environment management.
