As long with the rapid devalopment of marine industry and economy,China attaches more and more attention to the exploit and construction of islands, especially uninhabited-islands.For military, scientific research or other activities, the most basic requirement in the uninhabited islands is to provide personnel with comfortable and safe living environment. As well known, the climate conditions of most uninhabited islands is harmful for personal living.Once the air-conditioning closed, the outdoor air that is hot and moist will infiltrate from envelope crevices, which possibly causes condensation on inner surfaces of walls and ceilings. In this paper,CFD method is used to study the condensation on the inner surfaces of the island habitation cabin(IHC)influenced by air infiltration, and to provide solution and guidance for the follow-up design study.Firstly, based on the equations of mass, energy and momentum conservation, the mathematic model of the IHC flow field, consisting of governing equations and the corresponding singular value conditions. And then, the governing equations are solved by simulation software Fluent when the suitable turbulence model is selected.Secondly, the verification experiment is designed and the test data under several experimental conditions are received. The simulation data of the experimental room is compared with the test data, which verifies accuracy and reliability of mathematic model built in previous section. Finally, concerning actual conditions of uninhabited islands, the effects of the infiltration air with diffirent perameters, including temperature and humidity,on the condensation on IHC inner surfaces are study in use of the verified mathematic model, and put forward several solutions. Some conclusions are drawn. When air conditioning closed, the air infiltration causes condensation on IHC inner surfaces. The most srious condition is 38?,43g/kg.No matter what conditions, the junction and conner of walls and ceiling are the area,on which the condensation most likely emerges. The temperature dirrerence contour on ceiling surface is petal-type distribrtion, and it cinclines toward the gable away from infiltration inlet under larger outdoor wind speed. The area,on which condensation most likely accurs, will transfers from air infiltration inlet to the gable away from infiltration inlet over time. However,on the center area of the petal of ceiling, the difference between wall temperature and dew is always larger than other area. The solution to avoid condensation on IHC inner surfaces includes air conditioning method and coating method. The analysis of different air conditioning operation strategy, including supporting only new air and only dry return air, shows that energy consumption of the former scheme is less than the latter scheme.
