With the rapid development of economy and the advancement of urbanization,more and more high-rise residential buildings in our surrounding arise.While the traditional way of water supply has not been able to satisfy people’s requirements,moreover,the energy consumption is huge and the water quality of the water supply can not be guaranteed.At present,new water supply technology and new equipment is developing,many water supply equipments and water supply forms with better economy and higher reliability have appeared,which also provides direction and technical support for traditional water supply energy saving transformation.Therefore,for the purpose of energy saving,the design optimization and energy saving transformation of water supply of the traditional residential buildings were studied in this paper.In this article,the advantages and disadvantages and applicability of the high-rise residential building water tank water supply pump,pressure tank water supply mode,variable frequency constant pressure water supply system,as well as no negative pressure frequency conversion constant pressure water supply system were analyzed first,and the ways to adapt to the modern high-rise residential building water supply were discussed.Through the above comparison and analysis,it comes to a conclusion that high-rise residential buildings’ energy consumption are mainly determined by the energy consumption of secondary pump,while reasonable configuration pump energy conservation has important effect on energy saving of water supply system,and no negative pressure water supply system can take advantage of municipal water pressure and the effect of energy saving is obvious.Fixed frequency constant pressure and simple frequency conversion of constant pressure water supply pump group are usually adopted as traditional ways of water supply.In this article,the fluid simulation software of FLOWMASTER was used for modeling and simulation calculation on the common way of water supply.Based on practical engineering,its reliability and economy are analyzed and the retrofit scheme of the system is optimized by changing the collocation of pumps and control with simulation calculation once again.Moreover,the widely used no negative pressure water supply equipment is modeled and simulated for calculation,and compared with traditional ways of water supply,analysis of the advantages of no negative pressure water supply is also analyzed,as well as the comparison of energy consumption.In the end,the feasible retrofit plans are proposed based on the actual engineering situations.
