| Automatic cartoning machine is used for the package of desired products or materials into a carton which is then packing through the corresponding execution mechanism automatically.The processes include box-taking,box-putting,materials-pushing and box-sealing.The main execution mechanisms include the box-sucking mechanism,the transporting mechanism,the materials-pushing mechanism and the box-sealing mechanism.For now,the domestic carton packaging machine limited in its functions can only be used for one shape of carton and it is in the low-speed level which is generally at 40-60 cartons/minute.The output of many single products are not high in small and medium enterprises,and the enterprises need to buy more than one cartoning machine for different carton package.They will face the dilemma of the rise in works’wages and the low ratio of income to investment equipment,leading to the reduction of the products’competitive advantages.The success of the key technology research in high speed cartoning machine for various shapes of cartons can promote the automation of cartoning machine applications in small and medium enterprises.This research and development meets the demand of market and society and helps to enhance our country packaging machine competitiveness in the international packaging machinery industry.The main content of this article is as follows:1.Base on the craft requirements of box-taking and box-putting,the paper analyses the structure of traditional planetary gear train box-sucking mechanism.This paper also presents a mathematical model to obtain the simulated trajectory and movement characteristics of the planetary gear train box-sucking mechanism sucker hypocycloid,and identifies the optimal trajectory parameters and corresponding movement characteristics of the circular gear planetary gear train box-sucking mechanism,providing a theoretical basis for the design of planetary gear train box-sucking mechanism.2.Based on the circular gear planetary gear train box-sucking mechanism,a novel type of box-sucking mechanism of planetary gears using elliptical–circular gear is proposed under the premise of box-taking and box-putting craft requirements.The simulated trajectory and movement characteristics of the novel box-sucking mechanism sucker hypocycloid are obtain by using MATLAB.A group of optimal structural parameters include elliptical eccentricity e=0.05,r1=85.3,r2=49.3.Comparing the results with the one of the planetary gear train box-sucking mechanism sucker hypocycloid,the new structure parameters are defined.The results shows that the change in velocity reduced by 14.3%at the box-taking and box-putting stations,before bxo-taking,the velocity reduced by 14.3%,while the maximum acceleration decreased by 9.9%.Based on the functional requirements of the material transporting device and different carton shape requirements,a carton cartridge of which the tray length can be adjust is designed.The carton cartridge is placed at an inclination of 30°from horizontal.3.The paper then analysed the craft requirements and main parameters of the materials-pushing mechanism and box-sealing mechanism.Quick-return characteresitcs of the materials-pushing mechanism and the folding craft of the carton are studied,The paper offers an simplification and an innovation of the structure of materials-pushing mechanism and box-sealing mechanism under the premised craft requirements and the adjustable sizes of cartons.According to the actual carton size,the paper defines the structural parameters of materials-pushing mechanism and box-sealing mechanism,the simulation of the materials-pushing mechanism and the analysis of the velocity and acceleration of the contact point at which the pusher bar and the material are presented.The velocity and acceleration of continuous,the speed travel coefficient k=1.23,The paper also offers a design of a material transporting device and a carton cartridge,using belt welding with baffle instead of chain combined with baffle to reduce machine noise and improve transmission accuracy.4.The paper chooses the medical tape packaging for study,developing automatic cartoning machines that is suitable for the package of different lengths of cartons and the machines are tested through experiments.The paper also establishes three-dimensional model and virtual simulation of the box-sucking mechanism,and the box-sucking trajectory is verified through the experiments.The paper then establishes the three-dimensional model of the overall cartoning machines and makes further optimization of the machine structure.The tests on package through the designed caroning machine have been carried out and final optimization and transformation have been made based on the results of the tests. |
