With the rapid development of China's auto industry,auto parts industry has also been rapidly developed.The engine is the core of the car and bearing bush has a huge impact on the quality of automobile engine.The influence of the bearing on the engine's working conditions is mainly reflected in the size of the various bearing gaps.Therefore,the quality of the bearing is closely related to the quality of engine.It is necessary to start from two aspects to improve the quality of the bearing.On the one hand,it needs to improve the precision of the bearing processing equipment.On the other hand,it needs to improve the accuracy and efficiency of testing equipment.Although there is already bearing detection equipment on the market,they are not perfect and have their own shortcomings.They can't combine precision with efficiency.In view of the above problems,this paper develops a set of inspection and sorting system of bearing wall thickness.It can be used for full automatic detection and separation of bearing wall thickness.The wall thickness detection and sorting system is mainly composed of loading device,feeding device,testing device and sorting device.The system provides a beautiful detection interface and realizes the automatic operation of the bearing wall thickness detection and separation process.If the system exception is found,it will automatically stop and alarm and protect the hardware.The equipment maintenance personnel shall find out the cause of the problem according to the alarm and take measures to restore the normal operation of the equipment.The design of the bearing wall thickness detection and sorting system mainly complete the following tasks.The upper computer software of bearing wall thickness detection and sorting system was developed based on LabVIEW,it optimizes the detection link and improves the detection accuracy and efficiency.The sorting scheme was designed and completed,and the separation efficiency was improved.A communication module based on OPC is designed,which improves the communication efficiency of the upper computer and PLC,so that the detection and separation efficiency can be improved.At present,the system has been used in the bearing production enterprises.After more than three months of operation,it shows that the wall thickness detection and sorting system can run steadily for a long time.It has brought great benefits to the bearing companies.First,automatic detection saves human resources and eased the tension,which reduces the cost for the bearing enterprises.Secondly,the detection accuracy and efficiency are improved.The detection accuracy of the system reached 2.5 seconds/slice,and the efficiency increased by 16.7% and the detection accuracy reached 0.79?m.Its detection precision and efficiency can meet the production requirements of the bearing enterprises.
