With the increase in the number of churches and congregation,the church sound quality is getting more and more attention.Sound quality performance as a church to undertake various religious activities of the basic conditions,affected the smooth development of various activities and sense of belonging,so the study of church sound quality has a very positive significance.This paper first combs the recent foundings of church performance at home and abroad,including the design of sound quality,the test standard and the correction model of calculation.Followed by a total of seven churches in Nanjing and Suzhou to conduct a survey included church form,size,the use of acoustic decorative materials and the most important sound parameter reverberation time.Through the study to explore the church sound quality and the relationship between these parameters.The current performance of the church sound quality was analyzed and summarized.Then the simulation analysis of the church used a professional acoustic software on T30,STI,C80 and LF80 and other sound quality parameters of the analysis,in accordance with objective criteria to assess the quality of the church sound quality.Contrast with the measured church reverberation time and find the gap between the simulation and the measured.According to the simulation data on the relationship between church volume and reverberation time,and the existing sound quality standards were compared.And the measured use of general decoration materials in the church were used on the actual project pre-quality simulation and judgment.After the results analysis,we found sound quality defects.Then,the original scheme is designed with three scenarios.Through the comprehensive evaluation of the objective criteria and the subjective questionnaire,the optimal scheme is obtained.The results of the four programs show that the current Chinese believers have higher requirements for the speek transmission index and less sound quality for chanting.Therefore,in the design of the church sound quality,it is recommended from the perspective of high speek transmission design,it's appropriate to reduce the reverberation time to meet the requirements of the audience to high-definition,but also to meet the needs of religious music demands.
