Chemical industry park is a modern chemical industry to adapt to product consumption area or raw material origin,international intensification and efficiency products.In recent years,with the rapid development of Io T technology,digitalization and information technology,digital chemical industrial park and intelligent chemical industry park have been rising gradually.How to make full use of computer,digitization and information technology to promote the quantification,visualization and scientific of the planning,design,implementation and operation of chemical industrial park has become a hot research area in the planning and design of chemical Industry Park.As a traditional spatial information technology,GIS has made many excellent research achievements in the planning and design of chemical Industry Park.Shown from existing research,GIS has played an important role in the site selection,functional zoning,traffic trunk road and main pipeline planning and design applications.In addition,GIS can be a great assist in watching the park and accident rescue process,such as with fire spread simulation and domino effect simulation in GIS environment emergency rescue programs can be made in time help.As a result,the planning and design of the chemical industrial park focus on both the macroscopic aspect and the detailed design of the artificial building with finer granularity.Therefore,GIS has exposed the following problems in the planning and design of the chemical industrial Park:? focusing on the description of macro-spatial information but lack of in-depthfocusing on the description of macro-spatial information but lack of in-depth architectural details of the internal description;focusing on describing the geometrical information of geographical elements but lacking the standardized material and size information.focusing on the description of the existing geographical environment,the planning and design support is not friendly;lack of complete lifecycle tracking design and support function of late-stage auxiliary operation.BIM(Building Information modeling)is a new spatial information technology,which can provide a detailed digital model of artificial buildings in a standard way.Since its inception,BIM has set off a “BIM Heat” in the field of architectural design at home and abroad.In the view of spatial information,BIM technology compensates for the lack of detailed indoor space information in GIS for a long time.Therefore,by combining GIS and BIM technology,it is expected that the compact spatial information model of digital chemical industry park can be constructed,which would provide designer more powerful supportof planning and design in the chemical industrial park.In addition,with the help of whole life cycle management in the BIM technology,it can support the informatization management of the construction and the later operation of chemical parks.Therefore,this paper discusses the application points,advantages and application prospects of GIS and BIM fusion technology in the planning,design,construction and operation of chemical industrial park following the "Theory + Case" procedures.The first chapter of this paper mainly expounds the problems of the development of modern chemical industry park,the needs to use GIS and BIM fusion technology to support the planning and design of Chemical Industry Park.The second chapter expounds theconcept and connotation of GIS,BIM andintelligent chemical industrial park;The third chapter expresses the advantages of GIS and BIM fusion technology;The fourth chapter foucs on a case study adopting the GIS and BIM fusion technology to aid planning,designingand construction of a chemical industrial park in Yingcheng,Hubei.
