Analysis On The Generation Development And Innovation Of Sou Fujimoto's House Design

In recent years,Japanese architects have been paid more and more attention all over the world.As one of the pioneers,Sou Fujimoto has been emphasized because of his thoughts such as weak architecture and primitive future.Influenced by time background,the new generation of architects tends to devote to design mainly private houses.Based on this situation,the generation and development of Fojimoto' architectural views have mostly delivered in the process of researching and practicing the projects of houses.Therefore,this thesis focus on the source and development of Sou Fujimoto's houses views.Analyze cases,summarize his key expression of houses and offer references for the future.The parts below constitute this thesis in order to explore what makes his houses and how they characterize?Chapter one is introduction which includes the theoretical background,precent situation and relevant concepts from aspects of new generation architects and houses.The second chapter concentrates on the time background,house developed background and living condition in the purpose of answering the progressive questions:why the new generation is different?Why their house design are different and why Sou Fujimoto' s house design is different?Chapter three focuses on the influence factors for Fojimoto's house views.It analyses from both architectural and non-architectural aspects which contains the inspiration from his education background,the master pieces and the traditional culture.Chapter four is aimed at Sou Fujimoto's house design.Under the conditions of summary,his views are divided to 4 parts-the city,the nature,the individual house and the living behavior-in order to figure out his specific characteristics of house design.The last chapter is conclusion which focuses on innovation of Sou Fujimoto's house design and the research significance.
