“The royal cemetery” is a research project,based on “Platinum Erin ting”,a kind of traditional photography printing technology.The manual pr inting works out of print picture output mode of the popularization.The c olor tone of color photos and black-and-white photos are different,compa red with the classical pictures handicrafts taste more strong.traditional ma nual printings in western countries are mature photography techniques,s uch as Pinhole imaging,daguerreotype.At the same time,Phenotype,C arbon transfer and Platinum printing appeared.Photography is introduced relatively late to China,which results in the replacement for many classic al photography by other photography techniques.This means that many types of traditional photography printing techniques are underdeveloped i n China.In recent ten years,artists who have established connection.T hey exchange experiences each other.To some extent,they are promoti ng the development of photography printing techniques of China.Because of the stability of platinum,platinum photos can go through hundreds of years without changing.Using the traditional technology of photography,platinum printing method and the theme of "Royal Cemetery" combination,focus on the performance of the sense of history and bea uty.Last for hundreds of years,the buildings and statues were weathere d or destroyed because of time change;because of the grave robbers,t he cultural relics of the cemetery were damaged or stolen.Witnessing th ese things,I lament the fate of these buildings and sculptures.Using pla tinum photos,I hope their beauty can be preserved and handed down.
