This thesis mainly researched one high speed and metal printing machine, the front guide and the optimization of the cylinder was analyzed and studied. The3D mold of the printing cylinder and the front guide was set up, the simulation of the processing about the front guide located to the iron sheet was analyzed, and the driven cam profile based on the best front guide kinematics regulation was designed. The printing press during the printing process through the method of simulation was researched, the structure FEA and optimization of the impression cylinder was analyzed.First, the overall layout and composition of the iron printing machine was designed based on the analysis of the machine’s requirement analysis. The front guide and cylinder’s property requirement was analyzed; the typical cylinder and front guide’s structure property and the influence which effect to the printing quality were also analyzed. The3D mold of the printing cylinder was set up through Solidworks. Based on the principle of front guide and its analysis of the kinematics regulation, the mechanism of the front guide located to the iron sheet was acquired.Second, the processing of the front guide located to iron sheet was analyzed through Solidworks motion, then the iron sheet’s property at the condition of different front guide’s kinematics regulation was researched, and the front guide’s property has been researched at the same way. Different kinematics regulation affect to iron sheet and front guide’s properties as well as the force properties among the contact processing was compared and analyzed, the best front guide and iron sheet’s kinematics properties was acquired.Last, according to the designed of the cylinder before, the iron sheet printing process was analyzed through the large nonlinear FEA analysis software ABAQUS. The stress and deformation’s distributed regulation among the axis and tangent path during the steady printing period was discussed, the stress distribution varies time of the node on the path was also discussed. The optimization of the impression cylinder has been researched; the cylinder’s structure property has been improved through the optimization.the cylinder’s stress and deformation was more uniformity after optimization.
