Research On The Design Of Partition In Modern Space Concept And Practice

Partition is an important component of interior space,due to its rich form and variety of functions,it has the functions of decorating and reconstructing the space,and plays a diversified role in different spatial types.This paper analyzed the historical origins of the partition and its identities and functions in the traditional space.On the basis of the modern space concept and practice,combined with modern space theory and design practice,this paper further systematically analyzed the partition shapes in the modern space,and the internal motivation of its formation.Under the thought of "anti-decoration" of modernism,fitting the concept of "floating space",partition has become the indispensable tool for shaping the space to meet the functional needs,and is an important participant in the formation of spatial transparency and fluidity."Super Flat" pursuits the homogenization in functional level,in which partition expresses the "temporary" of space function to digest the boundaries of space and create a separated but constantly space.In the "deconstructivism" architectural space and practice,the partition is an important component for deconstructing the space,which reshapes the space with continuous,irregular dynamic appearances.With the development of modern technology and innovation of materials,partition presents artistic space perception and diverse functional performance.and produces a richer deduction in space.Partition will be an important element of the innovative space design for designers.
