Shear wall structure is a common structural form in high-rise buildings.Shear wall can be divided into four types:integral wall,integral small opening,coupled shear wall and wall frame according to the size of the slit.In this paper,the seismic performance of coupling beams with small span to depth ratio in coupled shear walls is mainly studied.The coupling beam plays an important role in improving the lateral stiffness of the shear wall,distributing the internal force of the shear wall and the first line of defense under the earthquake.Therefore,the coupling beam plays an important role in the shear wall.Due to the limitation of the structure,the structure and the equipment,the coupling beam is often designed as a deep beam with small span height.However,the small span ratio coupling beam is prone to brittle failure under seismic action,which is very unfavorable to the seismic performance of the structure.This paper presents a kind of lead damping sandwich coupling beam,that is,a horizontal seam is opened in the middle of the coupling beam,and the lead damping interlayer is added into the horizontal joint.It can not only guarantee the sufficient stiffness and strength of the coupling beam under the action of small earthquake,but also ensure the damping interlayer under the large earthquake to improve the energy dissipation capacity of the coupling beam and protect the wall.The main research contents of this paper include three aspects:(1)firstly,the research direction and current situation of the coupling beam in China are introduced.Then,the function of the coupling beam in the shear wall,the stress mechanism of the coupling beam,the failure mode of the coupling beam,and the problems in the actual design of the coupling beam and the solving measures are analyzed.(2)briefly introduce the characteristics of ABAQUS finite element software and the parameters involved in the analysis of concrete.Through the ABAQUS numerical analysis software to simulate the mechanical behavior of lead damping sandwich beams,coupling beams,two beams under low cyclic loading,the seismic performance analysis of three kinds of coupling beams,the beams of the research lead damping sandwich bearing capacity,ductility and energy dissipation capacity.(3)select lead damping sandwich beam damping box thickNess,span ratio,the concrete strength and the slit height four factors,and the design of orthogonal experiment with four factors and four levels,a comprehensive understanding of factors affecting the seismic performance of the sandwich beam lead.
