In the traffic accident,the rear end accident accounts for a large proportion.With the rapid development of the logistics industry,the accidents of car rear-end truck are increasing gradually.This type of accident has a high mortality rate for passenger car occupants,mainly due to the different collision compatibility between vehicles.Although collision compatibility has not been paid enough attention in the current road traffic safety system engineering,collision compatibility has become a key problem of vehicle safety.From the aspects of simulation,the paper discusses the important influence of collision compatibility in rear end collision between a car and van,hoping to provide reference for the further improvement of vehicle collision safety and enhance the compatibility of the rear end collision,in order to protect the vehicle occupants.Firstly,the present situation of compatibility problems and the relevant amendments to the regulations are reviewed.The problems and research methods of collision compatibility are proposed.Secondly,the basic theory of collision simulation is studied,and the key problems in the nonlinear finite element theory and modeling process are analyzed.Thirdly,the main influencing factors of collision compatibility are analyzed,the finite element modeling method and Hyperworks software are used to build the crash simulation model of car rear-end van,and the LS-DYNA solver software is used to simulated calculation,the validity and credibility of the proposed model are verified.Fourthly,considering the structural stiffness compatibility and body geometry compatibility,in this paper,simulation analysis is carried out on the stiffness and the terrain clearance of the lower anti-collision device after the truck.In this paper,the collision compatibility of the car and the van is also studied by simulating the collision area of 100%overlapping rear-end,50% overlap and 30% overlap.Finally,in this paper,we expect to obtain the relevant rules of the compatibility of rear end collision,and provide reference for the research of collision compatibility through a series of simulation analysis.
