The automobile engine cylinder head is one of the essential components of the automobile.Its quality has a direct impact on the quality of the vehicle,so it is necessary to implement strict quality management of its production process.Quality information traceability system can collect and trace the quality information of the product,which is an important means of quality management.In this paper,a quality information traceability system is completed with barcode technology and database technology.The topic of this paper has a strong engineering background and great application value.The main work of this paper is as follows:Business requirements analysis and system architecture design are accomplished.The entire process of the production is studied from the storage of blank to the delivery of products.The functional requirements of system are determined,including information collection,information traceability system,automatic e-mail sending and system management as well as the non-functional requirements of the system includeing usability,reliability and other requirements.According to the specific application environment of the system,C/S architecture is selected as the overall structure.Technology which is the key to the system and its application in this system is researched.The application of barcode technology in material management is described in detail,including the selection of barcode reader and printer,location and batch coding,the function of batch automatic printing.Communications technology is applicated in the virtual alarm signal outputing and system network architecture.Research on data model and database access technology,introduces its application in the database design as well as the data source configuration.By comparing the mainstream relational database in terms of usability and maintainability,SQL server is chosen as the DBMS.Baseing on the analysis of specific needs,the system is designed.Its information processing process is determined by analyzing the main module of the system workflow.The system database is created by analyzing the information data.Considering the convenience and reliability requirements of users to use the software,the system input and output are designed.The system development is finished.Through the actual operation of the system,the functional testing of each module has been done.All the indicators meet the needs of the enterprise.At present,the system has been running steadily in the production of enterprise,and has passed the customer's audit.It helps enterprises survive and develop in the fierce market competition.
