Since the 21 st century,the world's largest car manufacturers scrambling to develop modular strategy.Modular strategy refers to the vehicle assembly and parts and components of modularization,makes them as much as possible,generalization and have complete interchangeability,so that through the adoption of different modules combination produces different forms and models of cars.Auto modularization is of great help to control the car manufacturers profit,it can shorten the development cycle,reduce cost,weight loss and reduce fuel consumption,etc.Also has many benefits for consumers,such as new technologies on the faster and faster,choice of models such as more and more.The automobile suspension system,the author of this paper has carried on the research of modular design.According to the positive modular development process,first of all,from the market survey analysis,defines the modular platform series models of vehicle parameters,followed by a chassis function definition and suspension system module partition,and completed the suspension module interface definition,specific suspension system modular scheme is constructed.Then,on the basis of the suspension system modular solution,using the ADAMS software,setting the modular model of multibody dynamics model of suspension system on suspension kinematics and elastic kinematics analysis,preliminary observed the difference of the vehicle suspension system performance.Next,will be extended to the whole car multi-body dynamics model,through calculation,the various modular models of vehicle dynamics simulation analysis results.Finally,from the car's performance,family theory,based on the consistency of the vehicle dynamic performance of the suspension of modular design optimization work,through the vehicle dynamics simulation calculation,preliminary achieve the consistency.The research achievements of this paper to the design of the compact level model modular platform building work has certain reference value.In the actual project development process,also need to combined with the structural arrangement of components and systems assembly,production of different models of economic benefit to the comprehensive analysis,formulate reasonable modular solution strategy.
