With the rapid development of computer technology,all kinds of auxiliary software play an important role in the field of engineering.The emergence of building information model has brought another significant change to the development of the construction industry.The application of BIM in bridge engineering can improve the efficiency of bridge construction.Then on the basis of literature review,this paper briefly introduces the related concepts,characteristics,application status of BIM technology and the importance of introducing BIM in the construction stage.According to the construction progress monitoring and related technologies,the construction monitoring of bridge structure with the introduction of BIM is discussed.Taking a concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge as an example,it uses the BIM technology to establish a visual three-dimensional model,then based on the 3D model and the simulation software to complete the data interaction,the construction of the 4D simulation has been completed.At the same time,it realized the seamlessly combination between software Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis and BIM core modeling software Revit.The overall security of the structure is calculated by the data exchange with Robot.The case demonstrates BIM technology can provide effective support for bridge construction monitoring and improve the efficiency of the monitoring and reduce rework.Also,it can be more effective in the construction of the bridge construction schedule management,reducing the construction process of the security risks,realizing better design intentions.
