The concept of "maker" into China since 2010,quickly spread after years and has become a society hot spots.From television,advertising,newspapers,magazines,books,paper materials,we often see the figure of "maker".From the standpoint of "interest",this article targeted to the interior design status of makerspace through field investigation,analysis and research,summary of design experience.I wish to design comfortable,characteristic,open,rich makerspace where people are willing to stay.According to the online survey about ideal office environment,79% of domestic people think that office environment will influence working state and efficiency,and 82% of people expressed their dissatisfaction with the current working environment.Employees who has been surveyed said that inflexible and dull office space willed make a person to think slowly,feel boring and focus inattention difficultly.The interior design of office space adding fun,intended to create a relaxed,cheerful,poetic,communication space atmosphere,relieve working pressure,stimulate the creative thinking,and improve the current universal boring office environment.In this paper,there are six chapters.The main body part was starting from the second chapter,introducing the development history of interior design about makerspace,types of space and present situation.In the chapter 3,author analysis background about the development of "interest",both at home and abroad,and reveal the social generality and individual differences,stability and volatility of aesthetic taste,by explaining the group of maker’ behavior and psychology,offering guidance on the functional requirements and interesting effects of space.At the same time,this paper analyzes the necessity and value significance of the interesting space for the makerspace.In the fourth chapter,author analyzes three performance features of interesting space(they are imagery,emotion,inspiration).There are made division of interesting types of space: playful,rational interest,chic,witty,fun,humor,peculiar interest,high spirits,by direct,theatrical,metaphorical,or associative form applying to the interior design of makerspace.Then,author chose four cases to analysis the interest of space.The fifth part is the author’s design practice,the design process about the interior design of makerspace from concept analysis,design further,to late design implementation,last putting the design on paper into use in reality,giving service for maker and the creation movement.
