| Color has direct impacts on product image,market appeal,brand influence.Product color reflects not only the characteristics of product itself,but also corporate culture.Therefore,a reasonable color design is of great significance.Most of current successful color designs rely on professional designer’s own experience and good color perceptual knowledge,which usually require a lot of manpower,materials,expenditure and long design cycle,resulting in an increase of design costs.So there is a need to study fast and effective color design methods via computer-aided technology.In order to simulate design thinking of designers in the actual color design process,this paper transforms color design problem into the research on whether design demands and color semantics match;analyzes the formation principle of color semantics,which expounds theoretical basis of obtaining the objective color scheme by the orientation of color semantics.Based on theory of physiology and psychology,this paper puts forward the research method of quantifying color semantics with eye tracking technique,designs and realizes the color semantic eye tracking experiment which put electromechanical products as examples,obtains the visual behavior data under the color stimulus and semantic cognition.Based on rough set theory,information expression system,membership calculation,the data is processed,the semantic quantization of color is completed,and the mapping relationship between color and semantic value is established via artificial neural network.Finally,the aided color design tool is developed on the Creo software platform,and the color design of two typical electromechanical products are carried out by using this tools.The semantic value entered in this tool is compared with the results of the questionnaire survey,which proves the tool is reasonable and effective. |
