At present,with the development of our state economy and the improvement of people's living standard.A building often contains a variety of functional characteristics such as of commerce,office,hotel and residence.In order to satisfy the requirements,we need to choose different unit patterns and structure forms.Then,we set up the inner conversion structure and adjust the force conditions between different structures in order to ensure the service safety of the building.Thus,it is high time to choose the appropriate conversion structure to meet building's characteristics and to meet the increasing demands of the building comprehensive degree.which will play the full role for the conversion structure in the construction field.Moreover,the further improvements for the safety,integrity,durability and economy of the building will have positive significance to promote the rapid and steady development of our state construction industry.Based on reviews of a mass of literature and the combination with the home and abroad research results,the characteristics of current adopted conversion structure have been summarized.And the force characteristics and design principles of various conversion structures have been discussed on the deep discussion.Besides,deep analysis and summary of the theoretical basis for the design of the conversion structure have been conducted,which lay a solid foundation for the design of the conversion structure in the engineering example.Combined with practical engineering example,application of SATWE software to calculate the two design programs of the conversion structure and comparative analysis of the important control targets,such as period,displacement,seismic response force and lateral stiffness,have been achieved to analyze the problems in the process of design in detail,which provide reliable data support for designers to choose the best program.And the theoretical summaries are as follows:1.The effect of the conversion structure on the long side direction of the shear wall is larger than that of the short side.In the design process,we should pay much attention to the long side of the shear wall stiffness control.2.When the overall conversion is compared with the local conversion,the seismic responses of the structure under earthquake action are increased due to the increase of the level conversion components.Besides,the overall conversion of structural stiffness requirements should also be improved.3.Through the thickening conversion layer at the lower part of the shear wall,cut and appropriate to reduce conversion layer upper shear wall length and thickness can effectively reduce the conversion layer stiffness changes;reduce the conversion structure under the earthquake action of seismic response,reduce project cost.In this paper,through the summary of the theoretical knowledge of the conversion structure design and the analysis of the practical engineering example,the existing results have certain reference value for the design,selection and analysis of high-rise building conversion structures,which will provide promoting significance for the development of the conversion structure.
