| With the development of transportation,road traffic noise has become one of the main pollution sources in our daily lives.Under the condition of high speed driving,road or tire noise is the main source of traffic noise.The European Union has set strict standards for environment protection and trade barrier setting.The calculation method of tire noise can help to accelerate the design of low noise tire,which has many benefits,such as the improvement of company competitiveness,the enhancing of people’s health status and the improvement of human settlement environment.The majority of experts believe that tire noise is mainly classified as vibration noise and air pumping noise.The air pumping noise is always a difficult problem because of the tires patterns and the large deformation.In view of this background and condition,this paper tries to conduct a study on calculation method of the air pumping noise by use of fluid-solid coupling.First,under the condition of rolling state,ABAQUS software has been used to conduct the explicit dynamics analysis in order to get the tire surface node speed and acceleration data.Second,the time-varying Euler node data has been transformed into flow field node data by means of Lagrangian-Eulerian data mapping program,which is regarded as the boundary condition of air pumping noise calculation.Then,the acoustic source and the flow field distribution of tire air pumping noise have be simulated with Fluent software in the ANSYS Workbench platform.Finally,the obtained calculation results in CGNS file format from Fluent are imported into LMS Virtual.Lab.And the noise distribution graph and frequency spectrum around the tire are calculated.This method can reflect the spectrum characteristics of the air pumping noise well.Besides,this paper briefly introduces two kinds of tire noise test methods,including near field noise test and pass-by noise test.The results of near field noise test are compared with the simulation results on the numerical trend and magnitude.And the analysis conclusions of pass-by noise test results from a variety of tires with different pattern types can explain some important mechanism.The bigger groove gap,better connectivity to each other and the smooth airflow structure can reduce the air pumping noise. |
