Research On The Form And Evolution Of Traditional Door Of China In Sichuan And Chongqing Region

"Door" is a key node of traditional dwellings in space, not only has practical function,also has symbolic function , which is a symbol of the social status of the residents and cultural character. The function and form of traditional houses of door symbolizes physical form and cultural forms, presenting a certain evolution law in the historical dimension and space dimension . Sichuan and Chongqing areas are located in the southwestern hinterland,its traditional dwellings style has obviously regional characteristics. The existence of door ornaments attached to the houses also present a special morphological characteristics. This paper view the door of the traditional dwellings in Sichuan and Chongqing areas as the research object, analyzing its historical origin and the morphological characteristics from the point of view of history, architecture, art, with the reduction of the real appearance of traditional resident culture of this regions. In recent years, the acceleration of urbanization makes great changes in the traditional dwellings. Originally regional door is continuous destructed and transformed. In this background, researching on changes in the traditional dwellings in Sichuan and Chongqing areas play a critical role in maintaining the sustainable development of traditional residence culture.In the first chapter, this paper expounds the theoretical and practical value of the traditional residential decoration of door in Sichuan and Chongqing areas, and systematically analyzes the research status of on this areas.The second chapter takes time as the clue and systematically combs the historical evolution of the traditional houses in Sichuan and Chongqing areas. The historical evolution is divided into: the pre - Qin period, Qin and Han Dynasties, the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the late Qing Dynasty.The third chapter is based on the geographical location division, with the help of detailed field study and literature, respectively analyzing the door decoration in Shanxi,Anhui, Yunnan, comparing with Sichuan and Chongqing regions in the system analysis,This paper summarizes the morphological features of traditional houses in Sichuan and Chongqing regions.The fifth chapter analyzes the morphological changes of the traditional houses in Sichuan and Chongqing from the aspects of function, style, decoration technique,decorative theme and component.The sixth chapter discusses the modern transformation of traditional houses from two different spaces of urban and rural areas in Sichuan and Chongqing. The paper chooses the cultural streets as city space cases,such as Chengdu Narrow Alley,, Chongqing Hongyadong and other historical streets, Langzhong ancient city and other cultural cities, and taking town as local cases,such as the town of Chongqing, such as Lai Beach town.I n this way,I analyze modern transformation of traditional houses of door decoration.
