Three screw pump is the drive equipment of ship lubricating oil system,it plays an important role to the stable operation of the ship mechanical system.Ensuring the stability and efficiently running of three screw pump is also an important part of modern ship operational maintenance work.In order to achieve online health monitoring and timely discovery?positioning and diagnosis the fault of three screw pump.The paper start the study of performance assessment and fault diagnosis research of three screw pump.Firstly,the article review the development of health monitoring and fault diagnosis technology,analyzes the research status of hydraulic system fault diagnosis and sum up the research fields of it.Find the short of the three screw pump research.Establishing the research steps of fault diagnosis contain fault mode analysis ? equipment characteristics simulation and equipment fault simulation experiment.Secondly,analyze the comprehensive fault mode of three screw pump from the aspects of component fault and system fault.Redefining the performance assessment standard of three screw pump.And determining the screws and rolling bearing are the key component of the stable operation of the equipment.Thirdly,calculating the typical equipment's geometric elements of three screw pump core component and establish the structure solid and work medium solid by SOLIDWORKS.Establishing FLUENT simulation model,the pressure distribution and pressure fluctuations are analyzed in the simulation.Finally,in order to exam the conclusion of fault model analysis,the multi-function pump test equipment was set up.The fault experiment of rolling bearing and screw was carried out.Based on the experimental data,the output flow and pressure building capacity of the three screw pump are studied.The author proposing and verifying the state assessment method based on the residual properties coefficient and performance assessment method based on the flow recession coefficient.At the same time,the author using various of signal processing methods analyze the pump-body vibration signal,and complete the fault tag extraction of screws and rolling bearings' fault.Set up the corresponding between failure cause and fault symptom code.The experiment result verified the validity of fault model analysis of three screw pump.
