The perforated metal double skin facade is now widely used in architecture design which will give the building a more attractive appearance.But due to the presence of metal skin,the skin may shade the direct light which also reduce the light of interior space of building,whitch may lead to the energy consumption.With the increasing attention to environmental problems and building energy efficiency,the research,development and utilization of natural lighting have become a trend of sustainable development both at home and abroad.A large number of perforated metal double skin buildings have been built in China.But the research on the influence this kind of double skin facade brings to interior space of the building,such as the effect on the ventilation and the natural lighting,is still rare.Based on the project with perforated metal double skin facade designed by us: the Foshan City Youth Palace,we try to discuss the relationship between the light environment of interior space and the design of the perforated metal double skin facade.We choose some space behind the special facade,collect the lighting data there,and compare the real data to the simulated result of the improved design of the facade by way of Radiance and Daysim simulation analysis.Although specific conclusions can not be drawn for specific case studies,quantitative data bases are provided for future design studie.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part includes the first chapter and the second chapter,which is the basis of this study.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the topic,the definition of the metal skin and natural lighting research at home and abroad.Put forward the research methods and research framework.The second chapter is the basic research of perforated metal double skin of interior space of the building.The evaluation of light environment at home and abroad.Light environment evaluation criteria that are used in the research.Influencing factors and case study of perforated metal double skin building.The second part includes the third,fourth,five,six chapter is the main content of this paper,the third chapter introduces the current situation of Youth Palace perforated metal double skin design and lighting in Foshan City,choose some space behind the special facade.The fourth chapter using Radiance and Daysim simulation analysis of the classroom and contrast condition training under actual conditions.In the fifth chapter,practical research lighting and data collection and analysis.In the sixth chapter,ompare the real data to the simulated result.
