Research Of Digital Level Wireless Measuring System

Level,which are mainly used on Engineering Surveying and Leveling areas,especially has a higher professional requirements for Leveling,is a sort of measuring instrument which is already widely applied.In recent years,a rapid development of railway construction,highway construction,and building construction makes demands of Level sharply increased;moreover,the traditional requirements have already been replaced by some new requirements which mainly reflect on these aspects:firstly,the requirement for accuracy is technically lower than Geodesic Level;Secondly,instead of professional only in old days,operators could be any engineering techhnicians;therefore,a higher automation level and convenience operation would be these new requirements;moreover,its cost is much lower than traditional Digital Level.The development of Digital Level and improvement on technical field has already technically given a possibility to accomplish these whole demands.This paper designs and claims a new structural concept of Digital Level,and makes a experimental study.The core point is dedicate on:being able to complete some measurement task on medium-low level;taking advantage of universal mobile communication platform and resources could make process of study and development avoided millions of hardware design and simplifies all key technologies which are Coding Rod,Photoelectric Sensor,and Image Signal Processing;The operating terminal which is built on mobile platform could be easily operated and adopted.This paper is focus on setting up Digital Wireless Measurement System,and makes a study on the following contents:(1)Based on analyzing the measurement principle of general Optical Level,we analyzed the structure and principle of Digital Level,and theoretically calculate a valid distance between level and rod.(2)Indicated a structure of Digital Level.Analyzed instrument feature of Digital Level and advantage of mobile platform,chose Android OS as basis platfom,consider about the requirements of Level on construction,adopting wireless module accomplished the separation of drawing and processing.Set up wireless Digital Level measurement system.Analyzed features for system,and made selection and parameter analysis for each part of hardware.(3)Designing image collection interface and human-computer interface on Android OS makes Level standard image been collected into mobile device through wireless transmission.Designed Digital Level function main interface,analyze Java language's features,and accomplished process of image capture moeover,taking advantage of the method,which is calling-each-other through Android Applications,accomplish the combination of image capture interface and main function interface.The Digital Level we developed could collect bar code image to mobile device through wireless transmission,and accomplish all these basis measuement functions.
