With the continuous advancement of urbanization,urban waterlogging,water pollution,groundwater depletion and other water problems have emerged.Although rainwater can be quickly discharged by conventional rainwater management,but it will leads to more secondary disasters.In this respect,western developed countries put forward the concept of sponge city to guide urban rainwater management.After long practice,this method of rainwater management works better and has lower construction costs.In view of the residential area occupies an important position in the city,if the construction of residential rainwater management system is guided by sponge city,this will have a far-reaching significance for a comprehensive solution to the problem of urban rainwater in China.In our country,there are less cases that the whole residential area rainwater system construction guided with sponge city.The author tries to put forward the design strategy of Xiamen residential rainwater system through the research of the subject.Through the investigation of several large residential areas in Xiamen,the author summarizes some problems existing in residential area,and a series of negative effects that are brought by current rain management system.Thereby reestablishing the new objectives of rainwater management and the three basic tasks required to achieve the goal: Including reduced runoff production;increased runoff contact with natural surfaces and increased natural reserve of runoff.Based on the theory of sponge city,fist try to analyze the measures needed to complete the three tasks,then through the analysis of the land demand of each measure,last Clear the residential area of rainwater management on the surface space quantity and location of the various needs.According to the needs of rainwater management on surface space of site planning and design.Proposed the design of the rainwater system in the residential area under the sponge city concept: through the in-depth investigation of the site to understand the status of the site and the characteristics of the terrain,then combined with rainwater management measures of space requirements for site planning and design,including the delineation of natural resources,the determination of the plane position of rainwater management facilities and the creation of vertical space.Finally,the rainwater system is fully constructed,according to the step from the source to the end.Finally,take the actual project as an example,according to the above procedure,the rainwater system of Yangtang residential area is constructed.Through the evaluation of the construction effect,verify the feasibility of the design strategy,while summing up the experience of the construction,and optimize the design strategy.Through the summary of the experience of rainwater system construction in Yang Tang residential area,and provide reference for the future construction of rainwater management system in Xiamen residential area and even national residential area.
