In recent years,the rapid development of China’s sports undertakings led to a large number of sports infrastructure construction.The natatorium is a large space sports building with unique technical requirements,especially the water supply and drainage system is more complicated and special.The design of the water supply and drainage system and the fire water supply system of the natatorium is different from that of the general building.It is worthy of further research.In this paper,the indoor large and medium-sized competitive natatorium is the object of study.First of all,based on theoretical knowledge and engineering practice,the pool water recycling system were sorted out and summarized.The classification and characteristics of the circulation,the characteristics of the pool water quality,the water treatment process and the operation and control are discussed,and suggestions are put forward.Then the CFD numerical simulation method is used to establish the 3D model of the swimming pool and simulated by ANSYS FLUENT software.The steady and unsteady simulations of the swimming pool with three kinds of common water flow patterns are carried out under different inlet or outlet conditions.And the optimal design methods of different water flow patterns of typical swimming pool configurations are obtained.Natatorium as a large water consumption in the city,the recycling of waste water is an important part of the design.This paper analyzes the water quality and quantity of natatorium,and puts forward the “3 classification method” of water quality index for natatorium.According to the principle of water supply balance,Vensim PLE software and system dynamics method are used to construct and calculate the water reuse system.With a practical natatorium engineering example of calculation for application,the considerable social and economic benefits of water reuse in natatorium were proved.The calculation method is more concise and more accurate than the recommended calculation method.It is of practical value to predict the relevant data in the system design stage and for later operation prediction.At last,the structure and fire characteristics of natatorium building are analyzed,and the swimming pool water as water source of fire fighting is demonstrated to be feasible.And the specific measures of key parameters for design and the design of the water intake structure by this method are optimized.The design of the two kinds of water intake methods are optimized respectively,including from balance tank and from equalization tank,which can provide the reference for the designers.
