In this paper, we not only attach importance to the problems of scale, corrosion and bacterium in the routine circulating cooling water system, but also pay attention to the new special problems such as NH3, PO43- and foam by the reusing of municipal sewage.At first, according to the special nature of city reclaimed water and the operating working conditions of cooling water system, many water treatment chemicals are chosed in the laboratory, such as oxidizing agents stabilized chlorine dioxide, peracetic acid, 2-decal thio-ethylamine hydrochloride (DETA ), sodium hypochlorite, oxidizing agents are non-isothiazolin-ketone, 1227, compound fungicides of TH-401, compound fungicides of TH-402. Results show that stability chlorine dioxide, sodium hypochlorite, benzalkonium bromide and isothiazolin-ketone have an unique effect on microorganisms in water and good adaptability. Secondly, validation experiments were produced to test the conclusions got from the former experiments. Results show that the formula fungicide compound selected not only in the sterilization rate, the effective duration of action, but also the economy aspects are superior to single agent.In order to detect the effect of application of chemicals control , the sterilization experiments in the power plant circulating cooling water are conducted, three kinds of fungicide are selected to conduct the experiment and they are Sodium Hypochlorite, Bromogeramine and Isothiazolone. At the same time, orthogonal test is designed to select the best pharmaceutical formulations of reagents. The verification experiments showed that fungicides of pharmaceutical formulations are better than single agent in the use of fungicide dose, bactericidal rates, effective time, as well as the areas of economy.The screening of composite fungicides is conducted to solve the issue of microorganisms'corrosion and dirt of circulating cooling water, safety reuse of reclaimed Water, and ensures the security and stability of thermal system to provide the basic experiment data. Finally, the new solutions for control micro-organisms effectively in circulating cooling water system are proposed.
