Recent engineering investigations show that there are more and more destruction cases induced by the descent in durability of reinforced concrete structures. And reinforcement rustiness is very common in these cases. The damage caused is huge,A great many research revealed that reinforcement corrosion is one of the most important factors influencing structural durability. The reduction of effective diameter of reinforcement bars, longitudinal cracking of concrete cove and the loss of bond between steel and concrete are the main factors of leading to the decrease of the bearing capacity of the reinforced concrete structure. This essay aims at researching and analyzing the bending performance of corroded reinforced concrete beams by using finite element method driven analyzing software. The key points of this essay is described as below.(1)Summarizing factors and corrosion mechanism of reinforced concrete in reinforced concrete structure.(2)The influences of partial steel corrosion is described in details by researching in the mechanical properties of corroded reinforced concrete; The destructive features of corroded parts is illustrated systematically via simulation and the main factors of why the bearing capability of the corroded parts is reduced are discussed.(3)The finite element method, which is used in testing corroded reinforced concrete beams,is researched under the support of fundamental theories corroded reinforced concrete beams.(4)In the simulation of mentioned two software, the erosion rate is set up to increase gradually via the reinforced section of concrete beams decreases. The results are calculated on the basis of the reduction in the capability of concrete beams and bonding strength.(5)The test results and simulated results by using finite element method are compared. This includes concrete stress change,load-deflection variation of lower beam under different corrosion rate and crack development.
