Precise acquiring tracking and pointing system(ATP)has been widely used in airplanes,military ships and vehicles,completing tasks with the electro-optical system.It also becomes an integral part of the system in the field of major issues related to space exploration,medical and industrial equipment.There is still a certain gap between the current domestic and abroad in this field.So it is of great importance in conducting a research of a large-stroke,high-precision and high-dynamic precise acquiring tracking and Pointing system.In this paper,background to the National Natural Science Foundation of China ‘basic study of large scale complex sub-micron radians level precision drive'.This paper develops a driving and transmission unit which has the advantage of large-stroke,high-precision and high-dynamic performance,using a large-stroke flexure pivot as its guiding and supporting unit,and a rotary voice coil motor as its magnetic driving unit.This paper begins its theoretic analysis with the design and optimization of the large-stroke flexure pivot,the optimization and modeling of magnetic driving unit and the modeling of the whole system.The main contents are following.1.By investigating present precise acquiring tracking and pointing system,this paper summarized the application field and performance index of precise acquiring tracking and pointing system,which laid the foundation for designing of the large-stroke complaint driving and transmission unit.2.This paper introduces the general planning of the large-stroke complaint driving and transmission unit,and lists the design index of this project.After the analysis of driving unit and supporting unit,the design flow and the general planning are finally concerned.3.To achieve design index of the large-stroke flexure pivot,a theory analysis of the large-stroke flexure pivot is taken.Combining its design index,a flexure pivot which can be applied to the driving and transmission unit is optimized and designed.4.After analyzing the characteristic of rotary voice coil motor,the disc winding rotary voice coil motor is selected as the design reference of magnetic driving unit.Finally,the design index of the large-stroke flexure pivot is taken into consideration to get the magnetic driving optimized.5.Matlab,ADAMS and Comsol are used to model and simulate the whole system.The time-domain and frequency-domain response are predicted.And finally,some major parameters are taken as examples to analyze their influences to the whole system.6.An experimental platform is built based on the principled sample machine of the Electromechanical Integrated Design of The Large-stroke Complaint Driving and Transmission Unit.The experiment results show that the modeling is right.And the accuracy of stabilization and the resolution ratio are tested and validated,which proves that the design requirements have been reached.
