As a kind of deep-water platform,tension leg platform(TLP)is economical and hi-tech.Its fabrication cost will not go up greatly with the increase of water depth.Compared with other floating production systems,the production environment provided by TLP is more stable.All these factors make TLP more competitive in deep-water oil and gas exploiting.The upside and hull of the TLP are built separately and they are mated at sea or on land.Some methods which have been used in the construction of marine platform are mentioned in this paper,such as lifting,float-over and hydraulic hoisting,and whether these methods could be used in mating the TLP or not is analyzed.If permitted,overall lifting should be firstly adopted in mating the upside and the hull.In this paper,based on the TLP concept design for typical deep-water platform from state 863 projects,a lifting method using four lifting points is designed.The lifting method is analyzed based on ANSYS.Tube lifting point is designed according to the force of the sling wire.The strength of the lifting point is calculated through manual calculation and the finite element analysis.A method using slid way and dry dock is put forward.The upside of the TLP is built on the slip way and the hull is built in the dry duck near the slip way.After the fabrication,the upside is slipped to the above of the hull.Then they will be welded together.Slip way,auxiliary support device,slip board,cup support and pulling device are designed for this method.The auxiliary support device and slip board are checked through the finite element analysis to make sure that they are reasonable in structure.
